Con el propósito de difundir y promover el folklor boliviano la fraternidad cultural Incallajta New York fue creada por iniciativa de residentes bolivianos en New York quienes junto a amigos de diferentes nacionalidades fundaron esta agrupación el 26 de enero de 1992, donde predomina la amistad y la lealtad de cada uno de los integrantes.
La Fraternidad Cultural Incallajta New York es una institución creada sin fines de lucro en conformidad con las leyes y reglamentos vigentes en la ciudad de New York.
With the aim of spreading and promoting Bolivian folklore -Incallajta New York was created at the initiative of Bolivian residents in New York who along with friends of different nationalities founded this group on January 26, 1992, where friendship and loyalty are considered the most important quality by its members.

Tinkus
(encuentro o pelea) baile tradicional del norte de Potosí, que muestra el encuentro de dos comunidades donde escogen a sus guerreros mas fuertes los cuales pelean cuerpo a cuerpo en su afán de ofrecer sacrificios a la madre tierra (Pachamama).

Pujllay
(juego) danza de origen colonial de la región de Yamparaez en Tarabuco es muy rico en tradiciones y danzan al grito de “pujllay chaymusian” (está llegando el carnaval). En esta danza los quechuas muestran varias de sus facetas costumbristas,no se reduce únicamente al entretenimiento coreográfico sino que dan también lugar a la búsqueda de pareja.

Cueca
In Bolivia there are lots of different Cueca styles according to the region: Cueca Paceña, Cueca Cochabambina, Cueca Chuquisaqueña, Cueca Tarijeña, Cueca Potosina, Cueca Tarijeña, and Cueca Chaqueña . What they have in common is their rhythm in three, but they differ quite a lot in velocity, costumes and style. The Cueca styles of La Paz, Potosí and Sucre are the elegant ones, whereas in Cochabamba and Tarija the style is much more lively.

Kullawada
The Kullawada is an Aymara folklore dance that is part of the Andean culture of Bolivia. Originating in the region around the Lake Titicaca, it is traditional to be danced among alpaca and sheep wool weavers. The dancers wear colorful, elaborately decorated costumes for the dance, which is meant to represent the social class of weavers and textile workers. For this reason the dancers use a little spinning wheel as a symbol of the dance.

Originándose en la región cerca del Lago Titicaca, es tradicionalmente bailado por los tejedores de lana de alpaca y oveja. Los bailarines usan los trajes coloridos, elaboradamente adornados para la danza, que representan a la clase social de tejedores y de trabajadores del textil. Por esta razón los bailarines utilizan una pequeña rueca que hacen girar como símbolo de la danza.

La danza tobas es una representación figurativa de las tribus del Chaco boliviano. La coreografía de la danza es notoria. Exige saltos acrobáticos, agilidad excepcional y es una de las pocas danzas que requiere tanto movimiento.
